We feel so blessed to have had Paul as our wedding photographer. He has given us the gift of a lifetime that we will be so happy to enjoy for the years and decades to come.

We interviewed a lot of potential photographers and looked at many sample albums, and we felt very confident in our decision to go with Paul. His photographs not only seemed to capture interesting and meaningful moments, but also seemed to be just objectively beautiful photographs.

Now, having the experience of the wedding day with him and the photographs he produced, it is so clear that he was the absolute perfect person for the job. We are in absolute awe of the photographs he took. They are the most beautiful set of wedding photographs we have ever seen. They capture the spirit of the day so perfectly, and so many of them are beautiful works of art unto themselves. From the anticipatory feelings of the preparations, to the solemnity of our Jewish wedding ceremony, to the feelings of utter joy at the party. Even his photographs of people dancing are incredibly good and interesting.

He also managed to get shots of so many ‘micro-events’… small things that happened during the day that were unplanned but memorable. We had so much fun looking through the gallery as we could not see everything that was happening at the event, but Paul somehow managed to be everywhere at once and see everything.

Many photos were delightful surprises (“Oh look so-and-so and so-and-so were chatting!”) and helped us to further appreciate the day.

Paul also produced an incredible 17 min slideshow with a subset of the photographs. Watching that slideshow is like watching a movie of that day.

We have shared these photos with family and friends who were both at the wedding and not, and everyone is just so impressed. They all tell us that watching this video makes them feel like they were there, which is such a gift as many of our friends and family from the US could not attend the wedding due to the long trip and the pandemic.

Part of the joy of that day was also Paul himself. He has an energy to him that is very calming and reassuring. We had absolute confidence in his abilities and that put us at ease throughout the day. Also, he is an absolute ghost! We felt like we barely saw him at the wedding ceremony and the party. We forgot he was even there! It is incredible how he can move around so dexterously and get incredible shots of so many special moments.

Paul’s photographs are a gift that we will cherish forever.

We were delighted that Paul was able to be our wedding photographer. Having seen some of his previous work, we really liked his style and approach and he certainly did not disappoint.

The photos are absolutely stunning and the perfect memento from our special day. Paul uses a reportage style rather than fixed poses and perfectly captured the atmosphere of our wedding with some great natural and candid shots.

He was so discreet, I honestly don’t know how he got the shots he did! I hardly noticed him in the room whilst my bridesmaids and I were getting ready. I didn’t notice him at all during the ceremony and he captured some fantastic moments during the speeches and the dancing!

Having reviewed/met many photographers in both London and the South West, we chose Paul for his ability to not only document a wedding beautifully, but more importantly to capture all those wonderful emotions. We entrusted him with the challenging task of photographing our fairly large (350 guests) Asian (Bangladeshi) wedding which is very different to the smaller White weddings that Paul was used to. We certainly were not disappointed, and the images speak for themselves. There is emotion, elegance, creativity, colour, culture, depth and a variety of artistic and dramatic shots – all of which tell the story of our special day as it unraveled.

Paul is an amazing artist & captured the entire day from his drive up to the house through to dancing & everything in between.

We barely noticed his presence but he must have been everywhere! We received a beautiful package of our images with a very touching slideshow and relived the day all over.

I studied art at University and am very picky about photography and his work was beautiful and artistic. He was very professional and answered all our questions, concerns, and what-ifs about cancellations, rain, camera breakages, etc. which really put our minds at ease and let us know we were in good hands. We sat down and watched the wedding photos on Saturday evening. We were very moved, so much so that about 3 minutes in I had to tell Benjy to pause it as I was crying so much I couldn’t see! I then realised he had started crying way before I had!

It was great reliving the day and seeing the bits we didn’t see on the day. The photos are beautiful and you took some really beautiful shots of friends and family that we will treasure for a long time to come.

Our favourites were the one of Benjy kissing my forehead in the cipriani room in the window. The confetti shots. The close up of Hattie getting ready at the window is stunning and the one of my dad as he enters the upstairs room with his arms outstretched while we are getting ready is such a typical dad pose but one I don’t ever think has been caught on camera.

Thank you so so much for being so lovely in the run up to the wedding and on the actual day. I realise now we were not the easiest customers! Your presence was unobstrusive yet calming. You were patient and charming at all times.

 We were absolutely bowled over by the photographs. We followed your advice – got a bottle of bubbly, turned the lights down – and it was absolutely amazing, we were transported back to the day.

The funny thing of course is that, although we were at the centre of things on the day, there was so much we weren’t aware of, so much we didn’t see – so the photos were great for that, they showed us pretty much everything that was going on during the day.

And they are also such a special memory or record of the day. I certainly welled up a bit viewing them!

Choosing a photographer was the most important detail when Guy and I were planning our wedding. We were having a small, intimate ceremony so we both wanted someone who would operate in the background yet still capture the romance of it all.
