How many wedding photographers can boast having a venue as incredible as this one right on their doorstep? Not many I would suggest. But, tucked away in this South Gloucestershire market town that I call home is Thornbury Castle, a stunning Tudor creation that was once a favourite of King Henry VIII himself.
Whether it’s inside with its opulent and characterful cosy rooms and huge windows or outside with its striking facades and impeccable gardens, Thornbury Castle really is a gift to wedding photography.
It’s a place where I’ve documented both large weddings and very small, intimate ones with just the bride and groom. Every time it delivers something special.
