Lucy & Phil’s wedding at Aldwick Estate
Lucy and Phil came to me through a personal recommendation after their original photographer let them down. Whatever the reasons, it was certainly his loss, as I truly enjoyed working with this wonderful couple. Their wedding at Aldwick Court Farm was a beautifully relaxed celebration, filled with love and warmth.
The day began with Lucy’s preparations at a nearby hotel, which was just a short distance from Aldwick Court, allowing me to pop over and capture some moments of the guys getting ready. The ceremony itself was deeply emotional, with Phil particularly moved by the commitment he was making—a moment that always touches me.
Although the morning was cloudy and damp, my secret fair-weather ritual worked its magic, and by the afternoon, the skies cleared. Lucy and Phil and I took a stroll into the vineyards for some relaxed portraits in the beautiful surroundings.
After the wedding breakfast, guests were entertained by the talented singer and guitarist, Pat McIntyre, before the evening festivities kicked off with a lively musical performance.
