So here it is, my round up of 2012. It was a year that saw me shooting the greatest variety of weddings so far in my career. From a unique and touching humanist style wedding set in a woodland clearing, through to traditional church ceremonies; an Indian wedding with 300 guests through to an English wedding with just 3 guests.
Each provided its own challenges, but as always, each one was a privilege to be a part of and I met some wonderful people. Weddings are such an important and personal day in the lives of everyone involved that I always consider it a tremendous honour to be asked to play a part in it.
So to every bride and groom who entrusted me to document their day, every family member who enquired whether I’d had enough to eat and drink and every guest who couldn’t help but ask me how many pictures I’d taken, thank you.
Although not as short as I’d originally intended, this collection does illustrate that variety well and represents as best as possible the breadth and style of my typical wedding coverage.
I hope you enjoy it. Comments are always welcome so please do leave one if you feel inclined.
